Receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior
The most important relationship for every one of us is our relationship with Jesus Christ. Believing in your heart that Jesus is who he said he is, the Son of God, is the only way to salvation. Receiving him by faith as your Lord and Savior is the key to unlocking all the blessings God has waiting for you. But YOU must take the first step by letting him into your heart.
Romans 10:9 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you haven't given your life to Jesus and invited him into yours or even if you have been saved before but need to re-commit your life to Christ here is a simple prayer for you.
Prayer of Salvation
Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross and rose from the dead to save me from sin. I pray that you forgive me for my sins. I choose now to turn from my sins and every part of my life that is not pleasing to you. I surrender all that I am to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your place in my heart and in my life as my Lord and Savior. Restore me, Jesus. Walk with me. Love through me. Live in me. Thank you, God. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
